CHRISTMAS POINSETTIA - FUNDRAISER 2011
Choosing a fundraiser that will be successful for your organization is a challenge, especially one that will result in a nice profit while requiring only a reasonable amount of effort to achieve that profit.
Why a Poinsettia Fundraiser? You are capitalizing on the Christmas Spirit.
People enjoy buying something “Christmas” to celebrate the season. Many people already purchase a Poinsettia for their home, so you will be selling them something they are planning to purchase already. As well, Poinsettias make a great gift!
To help you make this fundraiser successful, Heritage Country Gardens will provide your organization with a custom order sheet. Attached is a form which we ask you to fill out with all the necessary information. Just check off the sizes and colours you wish to offer and the selling price, as well as any other pertinent information you would like to have on the order sheet. We ask that you give us three business days to make a master order sheet for you.
We strongly suggest that you plan to distribute your Poinsettias early in December (preferably, the first week). We always meet the needs of specific orders, such as fundraisers, first. However, if your order comes to us in mid December, we cannot guarantee availability. If you are intending to do the fundraiser with us, please let us know so that we can anticipate an order from you. We want to do all that we can to make this fundraiser work well for you! |
SOME IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The Christmas Planter has been very well received by everyone. It is offered again this year in a silver/pewter coloured metal container. Each planter will have a red Poinsettia, several tropicals, and ting-ting, as well as pinecones to make it a very festive planter.
2. We’ve changed up our Christmas centerpiece! We think it will be well received. It is a bit more contemporary in its design and the candle will be enclosed in glass. A photo of our new centerpiece is attached.
3. The 10” Tricolour Poinsettia is not specific. It will have three different complimentary colours, but we ask that you not sell them specifically as red, white & pink, for example, but simply list it as a TRICOLOUR.
4. Just as a reminder, to comply with Revenue Canada, we will need to charge HST. Our price list gives you both - the price before taxes and the price including the HST, as well as a suggested retail price.
5. We also offer a certificate fundraiser. In the past, some groups have offered certificates on their order sheet along with the Poinsettias. Certificates are available in $10, $20, and $50 denominations. Attached is information on the Certificate Program. |
The Poinsettias are available in white, marble, pink and red, and a 10” Tricolour. All Poinsettias are packaged with a decorative floral sheet and sleeved to protect the plant during delivery. Delivery is free on orders over $500 to London, St.Thomas and the immediate vicinity.
